Independent Medical Education
Takeda and its Alliance Partners are committed to supporting high-quality independent medical education. Support is provided for activities designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of health care professionals and patients. Acceptable requests will address identified unmet educational needs and foster increased understanding of scientific, clinical, and health care issues that contribute to the enhancement of patient care.
In general, Takeda is currently seeking to support education delivered in formats that will engage the greatest number of learners and include evaluation plans designed to measure changes in knowledge, competence or performance of health care professionals.

Type 2 Diabetes

In the therapeutic area of Oncology, please submit requests to Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., The Takeda Oncology Company (www.millenniumcorporategiving.com).
Please allow a minimum of 60 days for full review of a proposal. Takeda cannot approve requests after the activity has begun. To help us process your grant request within your required time frame, please submit your request as early as possible. Grant requests are reviewed for scientific and educational merit, audience scope, compliance with legal, ethical and professional obligations, as well as fiscal responsibility. Takeda reserves the right to publicly disclose the grant recipient organization name, project title, project description, payee state, and dollar amounts awarded.
